Nia Harmon

Congratulations to Nia Harmon, a graduate student from Professor Hailiang Wang’s Lab, who was recently named a 2025 CAS Future Leader by the American Chemical Society’s Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS).

Her research on photoelectrochemical nitrate reduction earned her a spot in the intensive leadership training program.

Harmon will participate in the program at CAS headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, from Aug. 11–16, for leadership training, career development workshops, opportunities to learn about the chemical information industry, and networking with peers and industry innovators.

See her spotlight piece in Chemical & Engineering News.
