Please join Yale Chemistry for a Silliman Seminar in theory chemistry with Prof. David Reichman, Centennial Professor of Chemistry at Columbia University.

Title: TBA

Research in the Reichman group is directed towards a theoretical understanding of both fundamental and applied aspects of the structure and dynamics of complex condensed phase processes. The group makes use of both analytical and computer simulation techniques to investigate the behavior of a wide variety of topics. Their current research interests and previous research accomplishments include Theory of optical and electronic properties of 2D materials, Singlet Fission, Structure and Dynamics of soft materials and non-equilibrium self-assembly, Theory and simulation of supercooled liquids and glasses, and Theory of transport in halide perovskites. More information on the Reichman Group’s research can be found here: Research | The Reichman Group

Hosted by: Prof. Tianyu Zhu

Sponsored by the Mrs. Hepsa Ely Silliman Memorial Fund

Location: Sterling Chemistry Lab (SCL), Room 160
