Yale Chemistry welcomes a new lecturer to teach general chemistry lecture and lab to undergraduate students.
Laura Herder, Ph.D., recently joined the department to teach Chem 161 and CHEM 136. Herder comes from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she also taught general chemistry lecture and lab.
She earned her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Notre Dame. Her research focused on computation and physical chemistry. The past six years of her research and publications have been in the field of chemical education.
