The Department wishes to congratulate Kyle Kimmel, a graduate student in Professor Jon Ellman’s Laboratory, upon his selection to participate in the Abbott Scholars Symposium held at Abbott’s Corporate Headquarters on Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Kyle went above and beyond the call of duty when he decided to drive to Chicago to participate in the Abbott Scholars Symposium upon cancelation of his flight due to hurricane Irene.
