Yale School of Medicine Dean Nancy J. Brown, MD, invites you to join her Dean’s Workshop, “Microbiome Research at Yale.”

This workshop will introduce microbiome research across our university. The keynote address will be presented by Wendy Garrett, MD ‘02, PhD ‘01, the Irene Heinz Given Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases in the Departments of Immunology and Infectious Diseases and of Molecular Metabolism at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Garrett investigates how the gut microbiota influence both innate and adaptive populations and the contribution of these cells to immune homeostasis and disease. The workshop will be led by Andrew Goodman, C.N.H. Long Professor of Microbial Pathogenesis and director of the Microbial Sciences Institute, who will highlight resources at Yale and studies in progress across the university.
