Location:
Sterling Chemistry Laboratory (SCL), Room 110 See map
Event description:
Join Yale Chemistry for a Biophysical Chemistry Silliman Seminar with Gary J. Pielak, the Kenan Distinguished Professor of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Biophysics, University of North Carolina.

Gary J. Pielak’s research uses the formalisms of equilibrium thermodynamics and the tools of molecular biology and biophysics to understand the structure, stability, and function of globular and intrinsically-disordered proteins in physiologically relevant environments. His research areas include in-cell NMR, macromolecular crowding, and the study of tardigrade proteins. More information on the Pielak lab can be found at https://pielakgroup.web.unc.edu/

Faculty Host: Caitlin Davis
