Info Session: Installation for Swagelok Lab Applications

Please join Swagelok Tubing for an information session from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, in SCL 160 to learn how to use their products in a lab setting.

Learn how to:

  • select tube fittings and tubing,
  • pull up a fitting,
  • pull up and tighten fittings, and
  • use hoses and valves for lab applications.

About the Presenters

Pat Duffy holds a bachelor of science in marketing from Fairfield University. He has been with Swagelok for over 40 years and has worked with customers that have applications in a wide variety of markets, including defense, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, research and discovery, fuel cells, automotive, fossil power, and nuclear power. He teaches Swagelok Essentials Classes on tube fitting installation, tube bending, medium and high-pressure cone & thread, regulators, valve selection, hose selection, and installation inspection.

Miles Adrian holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Quinnipiac University. He has been a Business Development Manager with Swagelok Albany | Connecticut for two years, serving a wide variety of markets, including universities, biopharma, midstream natural gas, power, and general manufacturing.
