Title: Total synthesis of Securiflustra securifrons and Chartella papyracea haloimidazole natural products
Summary: These studies constitute a unified and modular approach to eleven marine haloimidazole macrocycle natural products – eight of which have eluded synthesis and stereochemical evaluation for nearly three decades. The complex topology and physical-organic landscape inspired four novel photochemical reactions, along with multiple unprecedented strategic transformations.
