Safety Training: Chemical Safety in the Laboratory is an online safety training course. This course must be completed by all graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, technicians, and research associates before initiating laboratory work.
Biosafety Training: This training covers work practices, safety equipment and facility requirements used to work safely at Biosafety Level 1 and Level 2.
Radiation Safety Training: A mandatory two part training course is required for personnel working with radioactive material or frequenting an area where radioactive materials are stored or used.
Chemistry Joint Safety Team: Representative safety officers from each lab in the department whose purpose is to promote a practical and substantive safety culture and to equip students and researchers with the skills to safely work in a range of laboratory settings at Yale and beyond.
