March 16, 2021

Victor Batista, John Randolph Huffman Professor of Chemistry, was featured in Yale News for his involvement in a multi-institution project that recently received a $6.25 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense. Researchers in his group and at University of Michigan, University of California at Santa Barbara, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are working to harness artificial photosynthesis to sustainably create clean fuels and agricultural fertilizers. Read more about the project and see the prototype of the tabletop artificial photosynthesis device that has already been created.
