Timothy Newhouse selected as an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow

May 18, 2017

The Chemistry Department would like to congratulate Timothy Newhouse, Assistant Professor, on being selected as an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow. The Sloan Research Fellowships seek to stimulate fundamental research by early-career scientists and scholars of outstanding promise in the fields of chemistry, computational and evolutionary molecular biology, computer science, economics, mathematics, neuroscience, ocean sciences, or physics. The grant funds are intended to be used flexibly rather than in prescribed ways; the support is for people rather than projects. Professor Newhouse is one of 126 fellowship winners this year, selected from more than 800 nominees.

Congratulations Tim!
