Scott’s research focuses on developing new, laser-based instrumentation for chemistry, physics, biology, and materials problems. Currently, the Cushing Lab is developing a table-top transient x-ray technique, high-flux entangled photon spectroscopy, and few-femtosecond, driven-lattice experiments.
