Graduate Student Peer Mentoring Virtual Workshop

Event time:
June 15, 2022 - 12:00pm to 1:30pm
Event description:

Enhance your mentoring and leaderships skills to help new Chemistry graduate students thrive at Yale, and to develop yourself professionally. Learn to communicate clearly, set expectations for engagement, and determine appropriate support as you guide your mentee(s) towards independence.

Really building on how you were mentored over the years, you will develop new strategies based on the pillars of a successful mentoring: clear communication, collaboratively developed goals, and a sympathetic, open stance towards your mentees.

Throughout, there will be a discussion on how an inclusive mindset will help your mentees to thrive in graduate school.

Please join us for this summer’s online Graduate Student Peer Mentoring Workshop on Wednesday June 15, 12:00 - 1:30 pm
