10:10: Stafford Sheehan (Air Company). Dr. Sheehan is commercializing catalytic methods for converting carbon dioxide into consumer products, and had one of Time Magazine’s “100 Best Inventions of 2020”
11:05: Catherine Drennan (MIT). Prof. Drennan is a leader in the crystallographic characterization of redox metalloproteins.
12:00-1:30: Lunch and poster session in SCL 2nd floor atrium
1:30: Shane Krska (Merck). Dr. Krska collaborates extensively with academics to connect new research in organometallic chemistry to practical use in pharmaceutical processes
2:25: Maria-Eirini Pandelia (Brandeis). Prof. Pandelia is a rising star in the spectroscopic study of metalloproteins, connecting iron regulation to health outcomes
